Establishing 3-D Secure Hosting Center

China UnionPay Data Services Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as CUP Data), is a leading outsourcing service provider nationwide specializing in bank account services. Currently, CUP Data has provided professional solutions, including core card-issuing systems, value-added products, and consulting and data analytics services to over two hundred card issuers. The company's card-issuing data processing service covers different types of cards, including credit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards and offline chip card accounts, which conforms to corresponding standards of China UnionPay, VISA, MasterCard and other major card schemes. The business goal of CUP Data is to provide secure, stable and efficient operation services for hundreds of millions of bank cards.

Since 2015, HiTRUST has collaborated with CUP Data in establishing the Hosting Center for 3DS. Through close cooperation, CUP Data successfully launched 3DS authentication services for Visa and MasterCard credit cards. In late 2019, the Hosting Center was upgraded to provide 3DS authentication (V2.0, V2.1, V2.2) for five major international organizations, including Visa, MasterCard, AE, JCB, and UnionPay. The Hosting Center is currently utilized by prominent institutions such as Industrial Bank, Huaxia Bank, Bank of Beijing, HSBC, Bank of Jiangsu, Bank of Nanjing, Bank of Guiyang, Bank of Chengdu, Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank, and Bank of Zhengzhou.
